Still dreaming about this perfect wedding. These two are so great together. He was so so excited to see his soon to be wife. The first look could not have come soon enough for him. Once she saw him for the first time all of the nerves went away. They were just ready to get married… to say “I do”.

Leoness Cellars is such a great wedding venue. The ceremony site is on point and totally swoon worthy with vineyard and mountain views. What a perfect spot to commit your life to “your person”. The reception location is just as gorgeous. An intimate room with wine barrels to give that romantic feel. The perfect spot to dance the night away and since it’s inside you don’t have to worry about being too chilly.

The Oaks Club at Valencia Wedding -

We had the best day celebrating the love these to have for one another. What a stunning wedding day these two had. The Oaks Cub at Valencia is truly a beautiful wedding venue. Since this venue is a golf course the grounds are vast and lush and even includes a lake! As their wedding photographers we took advantage of it all… the venue supplied us all with golf carts so that the couple was able to have photos taken all over the grounds! TIP ALERT - ask your venue if you can borrow a golf cart for your romantics…..if you’re getting married in California chances are your wedding day will be warm and you will appreciate as little walking as possible on the big day. Trust me! ;)

Did anyone else notice that AMAZING wedding bouquet?! Well The Exotic Green Garden killed it in my opinion. If any of you are still searching for a florist or rental company check them out. I will attach their website in this blog. They did a stellar job!!

Montage Laguna Beach Engagement Photos - Orange County Engagement Session

I know I say it every time I blog about an engagement session but I can’t help it… I LOVE ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS!!!!!

This engagement session was no exception. Since these two had such crazy schedules leading up to their big day and to top it off accepted new jobs and a big move… we weren’t able to find a date for their engagement session until about a month before their wedding day. I was so excited to finally get to meet Jennifer and Justin and I was even more excited to find out that they had chosen a beach for their engagement session. The engagement session started off a little more simple.. I try to keep in mind when shooting that about 90% of my clients have never had professional photos taken (high school yearbook doesn’t count). With this in mind my focus in the beginning is to get my couples to feel comfortable with me. This is after all supposed to be fun! :) These two warmed up quickly and close to the end of our session I asked if they would like to get in the water (please keep in mind it was September in California …… the water was absolutely FREEZING). But with smiles on their faces they said, “sure why not”?!

As I said it was freezing

But to say they were good sports about it all would be an understatement!

I think it was worth it..

This Lake Oak Meadows wedding gave us all the feels! Rain and all it didn’t matter...these two love birds had a blast! 

Let’s get real though for a minute. In the months, weeks, days, before your big day the fear is always....”will it ACTUALLY rain”?! It is a concern, especially if your entire wedding is planned to be outside. Should we put the tent up or risk it? I don’t have all the answers but what I can say is if you work with an experienced photographer you will for sure have some amazing photos. Our team has worked countless rainy day weddings… through thunder and risk of flood. We still promise you will have fun and get AMAZING photos! You may get a bit damp and I do suggest bringing rain boots or shoes you don’t care about… but just look below....this day was raining but doesn’t it look perfect anyway? 💕

Dana Point California is definitely a favorite city of mine. If you ever have the opportunity to go exploring in downtown Dana Point you should. The city is filled with vast ocean views as far as the eye can see. The restaurants are all on point and tasty! Okay, enough traveling advice. ;)

Dana Point Yacht Club is literally on the harbor in Dana Point. The actual ceremony takes place on the quaint but lovely patio area. The ceremony site is filled with ocean views and a perfect place for any couple to say “I do”. For “romantics” of this bride and groom we sneaked away over to the beach next to the Ocean Institute which is about a 3 minute drive from the Dana Point Yacht Club. Wedgewood Fallbrook is a beautiful venue with lush green trees and a stunning new wedding ceremony location. We had such a wonderful day photographing this wedding. SoCal weddings usually always have amazing weather and this San Bernardino wedding did not disappoint. The HomeStead Wedding - Oakglen Wedding

The HomeStead wedding venue in Oak Glen is definitely a hidden gem. This wedding venue is tucked up in the mountains. Decorated to a “T”, this venue is already to go needing no added decor. Oak Glen weddings are always guaranteed to have beautiful views of the mountain side and The HomeStead definitely gave us all the views. What a beautiful day for a wedding and a beautiful couple. Montage Laguna Beach ….. what’s not to love?! Views for days with all the perfect rocky beach spots. We are in LOVE with this location for engagement sessions. Laguna Beach never disappoints us.
